About The Position

Gemini is looking for a Seasonal Manufacturing Specialist to join the team at our location in Mesquite, TX! This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. A day in the life of a Production Team Member at Gemini is: Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials. Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order. Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order. Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job. Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards. Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required, and may clean products as necessary. Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required. Operate lasers or routers to produce product as instructed per the work order Uses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order Will participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant Utilizing hand/power tools and operating equipment to finish high quality product. Working conditions are clean, bright, and organized, requiring the use of proper PPE to protect hearing and vision as well as the ability to physically load and unload materials.
