We provide evidence-based language, literacy, and life-skills programming to preschool children from under-resourced communities, delivered by Jumpstarters - a broad network of trained college students and community volunteers. Since our founding in 1993, Jumpstart has supported over 209,000 children and mobilized more than 71,000 volunteers. As Jumpstart strengthens implementation across priority markets, California remains a critical region for program delivery, innovation pilots, and summer learning acceleration. Position Overview The Seasonal Manager, Program Implementation serves as Jumpstart’s program execution lead responsible for ensuring the successful high-quality delivery of late spring and summer programming across assigned California communities (NorCal and SoCal). These roles advance early learning outcomes and meaningfully engage volunteers, ensuring a strong local experience that meets the unique needs of children, families, and community partners. Reporting to the Managing Director, Program Management, this role is designed as surge implementation capacity, focused on stabilizing partner execution, supporting program quality, and enabling the successful launch of late spring/summer program innovation initiatives. Managers will work in close partnership with the Regional Director to ensure strong partner experience, operational readiness, and fidelity to program design during this critical delivery window.
