This is a seasonal position from May to October.

Requirements

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred (1-2 years).
• Ability to work outdoors in Santa Fe’s seasonal conditions, including sun, heat, wind, and cooler mornings
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining resort appearance
• Must meet minimum age requirements under New Mexico labor laws

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort landscaping, including lawns, native plants, shrubs, trees, and flower beds
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, mulching, pruning, and debris removal
• Assist with planting and maintaining seasonal and native desert-appropriate vegetation
• Water plants using manual and irrigation systems, mindful of local water-use practices
• Operate landscaping tools and power equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing outdoor areas for guests and events
• Follow all safety guidelines, environmental practices, and resort standards
• Assist with special projects and event-related setup as needed
