About The Position

Plans and executes landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape of private, governmental or business residences by performing the following duties. Job Duties Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, assists with sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Entry level; requires supervision. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Obtaining driver's license not required. However to receive reimbursement of driver's license expenses and potential hourly bonus pay, those workers will be expected to periodically drive company vehicles as needed. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. Place(s) of Employment: 5323 Dixie Highway Waterford, MI 48329 and multiple worksites within Wayne, Eaton, Genesee, Ingham, Jackson, Lapeer, Livingston, Oakland, Monroe, Macomb, Saginaw, St Clair, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Washtenaw and Clinton counties. Standard Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday 40 hours per week) Board / Lodging: If requested, employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paid lodging. Wage: $19.93 per hour (OT hours vary @ $29.90 per hour). Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure.
