Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Are you looking for a Seasonal Opportunity at Aqua Pennsylvania, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities? We are currently hiring for a full-time seasonal administrative team member from May through August. In this role, the primary responsibilities are supporting the administrative office staff in the Roaring Creek Division office in Shamokin, PA. This position must be able to interact with the public and Aqua team in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with computers and work systems such as Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with customers and internal staff.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedules
  • Must always follow directions and implement safety procedures
  • A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist answering incoming phone calls from customers and vendors.
  • Assist with operational data collection and organization.
  • Assist administrative team with customer account related activities, including monitoring service order system.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable processing duties.
