About The Position

The Seasonal Lab Technician role at Actalent involves performing laboratory testing and data entry for incoming samples. Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and promptly.
• Perform laboratory testing on all incoming samples.
• Ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.
• Keep the work area clean, sanitized, and tidy.
• Homogenize and aseptically split samples into bags.
• Enrich samples with media.
• Incubate samples using the LIMS system.
• Check samples into retain using storage management.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specification samples.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
