About The Position

Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements. Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking a Seasonal Human Resource Assistant to join its team. Position Summary: Assists the Human Resource Manager with administrative duties including (but not limited to) staffing, training documents and logs; internal and external correspondence; FMLA administration and recordkeeping; and filing / documentation.

Requirements

  • Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • HR or related education/experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Seasonal Staffing support including but not limited to data entry, filing, orientations, reporting, training and employee investigations
  • Provides back-up support for the Human Resource Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
