About The Position

As Assistant Local Manager, you will work alongside our Local Manager as you lead, develop and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals. You will promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Local Manager with preparations for the opening day, taking photos and providing guests with memorable souvenirs, addressing customer concerns, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
  • Professional attire and good hygiene are a must
  • Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
  • Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Previous retail/assistant manager experience
  • Photography experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain core values and policies
  • Assist Local Manager with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training
  • Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately
  • Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed
  • Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training and/or recruiting
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
