About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and hard working individual to join us over the summer. Depending on your skillset and our team’s requirements, you will be placed as a dedicated contributor with either our Facilities or Warehouse teams. Whether you are ensuring our grounds are professionally maintained or accurately preparing customer orders for shipment, you will play a vital role in keeping our facility safe and our logistics moving. Requirements

  • High school or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in warehousing, shipping, landscaping, or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Proven ability to follow directions closely while working effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort working in various conditions, including ladders, uneven outdoor surfaces, and varying weather.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 56 lbs frequently, and occasionally move more than 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with lawn maintenance equipment and basic power tools.
  • Experience operating forklifts, manual pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor building or equipment issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dedicated duties within either the Facilities or Warehouse departments to support daily goals.
  • Perform daily janitorial and building maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and professional environment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of parking lots and building exteriors, performing landscaping and seasonal upkeep using lawn mowers and maintenance equipment.
  • Follow all health, security, and safety regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace for all staff.
  • Assist with internal office moves and furniture reconfiguration to support evolving team needs.
  • Safely use hand tools, battery chargers, and floor scrubbers to complete facility repairs and floor care projects.
  • Identify and report potential maintenance issues during regular walkthroughs to prevent costly repairs or safety risks.
  • Accurately receive purchase orders and complete required documentation.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for LTL, small parcel, and route shipments using pick lists and printed orders.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock levels remain precise and ready for customer needs.
  • Print and process pick lists and transfers, ensuring that outgoing shipments and internal transfers are handled efficiently.
  • Assist in keeping the facility clean and orderly, including sweeping and dusting.
  • Operate all onsite forklifts that could include turret truck, order picker, deep reach, counterbalance, and pallet jack.
