About The Position

The Coteau Properties Company is looking for talented heavy equipment operators to join our award-winning team at the Freedom Mine. The Coteau Properties Company, a subsidiary of North American Coal Corporation, operates the Freedom Mine, the largest lignite surface coal mine in the United States with large electric draglines, loading shovels, and coal preparation facilities located north of Beulah, North Dakota. Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
• Heavy equipment experience on track dozer or rubber-tired dozer is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience on tractor scrapers, coal haulers, water trucks, motor graders, off-road end dump trucks, and loaders.

• Operate heavy equipment including track dozers, rubber-tired dozers, tractor scrapers, coal haulers, water trucks, motor graders, off-road end dump trucks, and loaders.
• Work 12-hour shifts.
• Accept responsibility and challenges in the role.
