At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.SummaryCHS is looking for a Seasonal Hazmat Driver to join our team in Minot! This individual will be hauling pesticide product to local and regional customers during our busy season this spring. The hours will vary Monday- Friday with some half days on Saturdays depending on the week. Drivers will average 50+ hours/week, overtime will be paid after 40 hours each week. Our season runs from April- August on average. Join our amazing team today!

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL
• Current hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
• Must meet DOT and Company requirements

Nice To Haves

• Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
• Bulk liquid experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
