SUMMARY: Assist landscape supervisor in completing daily landscaping tasks as directed, which includes maintaining grounds and property. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate powered equipment such as: lawn mowers, blowers, line trimmers, chain saws, rototillers, hedge trimmers, loppers, pruners, and utility vehicles ("gator") Able to be at work and on time as scheduled either written or verbal and Saturday night work as required Mow or edge lawns using power mowers and/or edgers Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas Gather and remove litter Provide proper upkeep of grounds At season end return all issued equipment, uniforms and/or tools Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
