About The Position
Ozaukee County is hiring responsible individuals for seasonal roles at the beautiful Hawthorne Hills Golf Course (4720 County Hwy I, Saukville, WI). These positions run from April through November (weather permitting) and focus on golf shop operations and outside services. Available Positions and Pay Rates POS Host: $17.48/hour Manage phone reservations, handle payments and cash transactions, utilize computer/POS systems, and provide top-notch customer service. Golf Service Attendant: $16.24/hour Ranger/Starter: Deliver exceptional customer service, use computer systems effectively, and communicate clearly (e.g., greeting players, monitoring pace of play, and assisting golfers on the course). Basic golf knowledge is a plus. Course Maintenance: Repair divots, fix ball marks/pitch marks on greens, and empty trash receptacles throughout the course. Cart Attendant: $14.99/hour Clean and fuel golf carts, prepare carts for outings and group events, assist with clubhouse tasks, and support occasional on-course duties.
Requirements
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills and keen attention to detail.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software
- Strong phone-based customer service skills
- Enthusiasm for public interaction
- Ability to coordinate golf course activities
