Two Work Paths Available: We are hiring Seasonal General Laborers to support two types of work. Depending on business needs and your availability, you may work in one or both areas: Standard Asphalt Crew: Local work, including sealcoating, crack repair, and line striping, with consistent overtime opportunities. Athletic Surface Crew (Prevailing Wage): Travel-based projects focused on court coloring and striping, with prevailing wage pay ranging from $45-$75/hour on qualifying jobs. Requirements
- Eager to Learn: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for entry-level candidates. We will train on asphalt maintenance, surface coating, and equipment operation.
- Dependable & Punctual: Shows up on time and follows through on commitments.
- Hardworking & Team-oriented: Brings a strong work ethic and contributes positively to the crew.
- Detail-Oriented & Adaptable: Follows instructions and adjusts to changing job conditions.
- Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, squatting, and carrying for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physical outdoor work
Responsibilities
- Work on asphalt and athletic surface projects, including crack repair, sealcoating, coloring, and line striping.
- Operate tools and small machinery safely while maintaining clean, organized job sites.
- Handle materials, prep work areas, and assist with cleanup to keep projects on schedule.
- Follow safety guidelines, company procedures, and crew direction while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Work as part of a team, showing up reliable, hardworking, and ready for physically demanding tasks.
- Travel locally to job sites (typically within one hour) and occasionally travel for multi-day projects, with accommodations and meals provided.
