About The Position
Seasonal Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift Pay: $19.50/hr, plus $1.50/hr shift differential - On Demand pay available (access a portion of your pay before pay day) Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:00am, with overtime including Friday (9:00pm-5:00am) Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268 Job Type: Seasonal – not eligible for benefits Job Duration: This seasonal role is expected to last through the facility’s peak season. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- 6+ months previous order picker or turret experience - required
- Ability to work at heights of 20ft or more
- Proven success working in fast-paced, physically demanding seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop, and lift 50lbs throughout 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an order picker or turret to perform case pick duties
- Organize and stow products in the correct location within the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Other duties on or off the forklift equipment as assigned to support business needs
- Adherence to all safety policies – steel toes required
