About The Position
Looking for a hands-on, fast-paced, and rewarding summer job? As a Seasonal Food Services Associate , you'll play a key role in helping deliver meals to families through our summer dinner program. You won't be stuck behind a stove-this role is all about prepping, assembling, organizing, and serving delicious meals while keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll split your time between the kitchen and meal service, making every shift dynamic and engaging!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
- Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs. and stay active throughout your shift.
Nice To Haves
- 0–3 years of kitchen or food service experience
- A valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients (wash, chop, portion-no cooking required)
- Assemble meals and get them ready for service.
- Serve meals to families with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines like a pro.
- Support the team wherever needed, because teamwork makes it work.
