About The Position
Flowers for Dreams is ushering in a craft flower movement. Locally crafted flowers for fair & honest prices with hand delivery in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Detroit, as well as overnight shipping to most of the Great Lakes region. Every bouquet benefits an amazing charity. Named one of Business Insider's Most Inspiring Companies in America. We're looking for motivated individuals interested in using their own vehicles to make extra income via flower and plant delivery. Shifts are usually 3-6 hours based around the drivers daytime availability. Delivery routes are provided to the driver upfront with an efficient technology that optimizes time. Deliveries assigned to you can be within 40 miles of Milwaukee in an area you're most comfortable delivering in. This is a temporary position for our Mother's Day operation. However, outstanding candidates are often asked to return regularly!
Requirements
- People-person with positive energy, enthusiasm, and resourcefulness.
- Own a fully-insured vehicle with up to date driver's license.
- 1099 contractor with flexible scheduling & experience delivery driving.
- Shared aesthetic preferences & values with Flowers for Dreams brand.
- Experience with Loop deliveries preferred
Responsibilities
- Delivering beautiful bouquets across Chicagoland via fully insured car or truck.
- Greet and excite customers, serve as "face" of Flowers for Dreams.
- Deliver with care, attentiveness, and efficiency.
- Communication with Customers as well as Dispatch & Customer Experience teams.
