About The Position

Inari is the SEEDesign™ company, using new breeding technology to push the boundaries of what is possible by designing nature-positive seeds for a more sustainable food system. A combination of AI-powered predictive design and a cutting-edge multiplex gene editing toolbox enables Inari to unlock the full potential of seed and advance critical solutions with broad applications for growing more food with fewer resources. Requirements

  • Basic understanding and/or strong interest in plant biology, molecular biology, and/or agronomy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Enjoyment of the outdoors: Willingness to work in hot, humid, dirty weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field work, including the maintenance of the plants, collection of plant phenotypes and tissue samples for RNA analysis
  • Record and maintain accurate data in accordance with established protocols
  • Work collaboratively with the research team to ensure timely completion of tasks and project milestones
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and clothing
  • Perform other related duties as required by the research team, including organizational and in-office duties
