About The Position

The ultimate responsibility of this position is to assist the Production Planner and Expedite Coordinator with the timely processing and completion of all orders. This position will be responsible for providing effective support to all other facility personnel. A day in the life of an Expeditor at VF includes hand picking, packing, and delivering cartons to shipping, investigating order/stock issues, verifying stock quantities, searching production areas for missing totes/cartons, monitoring order reports, and communicating problems/resolutions to the Planning office. Additional duties may include communicating requirements to Leads/Supervisors in other areas and performing production work as required.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Basic level of education required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy
• Problem solving and accountability skills
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs and lift a minimum of 40 lbs for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Hand pick, pack and deliver cartons to shipping
• Investigate order/stock issues to promote to an inducible status
• Verify stock quantities in picking locations
• Search production areas and shipping dock for missing totes/cartons
• Monitor order reports to identify aging orders
• Communicate problems/resolutions to the Planning office
• Communicate requirements to Leads/Supervisors in other areas
• Perform production work in other areas as required
