Baylor Scott White Medical Center – Sunnyvale: Emergency Department | Emergency Room Patient Population: Adult, Pediatric, Geriatric Patient Ratios: 4:1 Number of Beds: 20 beds Department Specifics: Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, average 100 patients per day, around 15-20 EMS ambulances per day. We have an extremely large footprint of outpatient services in the community including physical medicine, wound care, sleep center, imaging, and two free-standing Emergency Departments. These outpatient services serve the communities of Forney, Mesquite, Sunnyvale, Seagoville and many more in the surrounding area.
Requirements
- Candidates for this program must have a minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care hospital experience.
- Be available to work a minimum of 18 shifts per 6-week schedule period – of which 6 of 3 the shifts will be a weekend shift.
- Attend mandatory in-services, meetings, and classes.
- Floating will be done by Hospital Policy.
