About The Position

JOIN BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE FOR A 13 WEEK SEASONAL CONTRACT! POSITION HAS A COMPLETION BONUS! Facility: Baylor Scott & White Buda Medical Center Department: Emergency Department Status/Shift: Full-Time Hours Commitment, 3x12s per week, Night Shift (7P-7A) - 13 weeks (1 week orientation/12 weeks on the unit) Increased base rate, completion bonus, and shift differentials! The Registered Nurse (RN) Seasonal PRN is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays. The RN delegates interventions to health care personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 1 Year of Experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities
