About The Position

Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands and has frequently been named one of the top places to work. The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated people to join our team as Seasonal Drivers/Lot Attendants. The position is located at Reagan National Airport (DCA) - 2500 National Ave Arlington, VA 22202. The lot attendant is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A driver will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards. This pay for this position starts at $18.50 / hour. This is a seasonal position with a 6 month maximum length of employment between the dates of April 1st to October 31st. Schedules: Full time schedule- 40 hours per week and includes working 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off Must be available to work weekends. Days and times will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years).
• Under 25 minute commute (in rush hour traffic) from the location posted preferred.
• Must be willing to accept a seasonal role (up to 6 months tenure) between the dates of April 1st and October 31st.
• Seasonal employees must experience a 3 month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations.
• Navigate written directions.
• Move and position vehicles from varying locations and regional lots for servicing, transport and/or rental needs.
• Transport vehicles to local gas stations for services such as gas tank fillups and checking air pressure in tires.
• Drive vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location.
• Leave vehicles positioned for best access by service agents, as directed by management.
• Drive serviced vehicles to ready line area and park for easy access by customers as directed by management.
• Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles as requested.
• Perform other service-related duties to ensure products and services meet customer needs.
