About The Position

The Seasonal Dockhands responsibility is to provide high quality service to customers at the dock. This position requires the team member to work 5 days per week and 8 hours per day. Seasonal schedule changes may take place at management discretion.

Requirements

Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
Must be age 16 or older
Must have valid drivers license
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and shifts beginning at 7:30am and ending at 8:00pm
Must be able to work all summer holidays
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to stand for the entire workday
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation
Must be friendly to all customers and team members
Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings
Strong passion for providing excellent hospitality and customer service
Maintain a thorough understanding of all marina operations to be able to assist at all times
Adaptable to work composed of a variety of different tasks
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time despite interruptions
Ability to make independent decisions and determine the appropriate course of action
Professional conduct and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members, customers, tenants, vendors, and government personnel
Strong work ethic and personal commitment
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
Must be able to swim
Must be comfortable working outside all day
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to work comfortably around water
Ability to work in tight spaces
Ability to work at heights of up to 10 feet
