Under the direction of the Seasonal Décor Manager, you will work with a team of décor crew members to plan and install inspiring displays of seasonal flowers and other elements at NatureWorks' residential properties. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented, and hard-working professional who loves color, plants, and the change of seasons. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Plan and install spectacular seasonal décor displays with the guidance of our Décor Manager Care for plants pre-installation at the NatureWorks yard and at clients’ homes post-installation Track and manage materials for jobs Provide strong communication between managers, team members, and clients Assist teams with loading and unloading vehicles with tools, supplies and products Assist with unloading and inventorying deliveries Visit vendors to pick up materials Deliver materials to job sites and/or between NatureWorks facilities Work with other services (gardening, shrub pruning, etc.) during slow décor months

Requirements

  • Plant ID (annuals and perennials)
  • Creating and installing décor for each season
  • Reading and understanding job plans
  • Care for plants and identify when a plant is troubled (i.e. has insects or pests)
  • Produce a high-quality product within a given timeframe
  • Work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Creating garland, wreaths, and bows
  • Follow instructions
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn NatureWorks standards and procedures for work completion
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe work behaviors
  • Demonstrate accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule
  • Ability to enter data into Microsoft Excel and other software
  • Maintain a clean driving record and DOT Medical Card
  • Operate NatureWorks vehicles
  • Accurate daily time tracking
  • 3 years of prior work experience creating and installing all types of seasonal décor
  • Driver’s License
  • DOT Card
  • Stand and walk throughout a minimum 8-hour shift.
  • Lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly bend, lift, stretch, twist, and reach below the waist and above the head.
  • Climb in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers numerous times per day.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance
  • Learn and practice NatureWorks’ Core Values
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • May have a MCLP or Floral Design Certificate
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities
