About The Position

The Seasonal Customer Service Representative provides efficient, high-quality service to Del-Co Water customers by supporting the billing and account process. This role uses company systems and tools to assist customers, complete tasks accurately, and help improve department processes.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including data entry and use of multiple software systems with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, reliable and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Perform basic math, maintain accurate records, and handle multiple tasks.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or educational training in a subject related to business, office administration or other related field.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with customers about account questions or issues by phone, email, and in person.
  • Show patience, understanding, and empathy when assisting customers and team members.
  • Assign work orders clearly and follow up to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Help customers use available technology to resolve account issues.
  • Use multiple systems to support meter reads, billing, collections, work orders, GIS, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records at all times.
  • Enter meter readings and account information accurately, resolving any errors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
