Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Commercial Service Center Driver to support our operations by delivering essential supplies to commercial pool operators, including hotels, apartment complexes, schools, gyms, and other facilities. In this role, you will ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor. Compensation Range: $23.00 - $25.00 /Hourly Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
- Completion of Hazardous Material Transportation and Security Plan training (HM-126F) prior to handling chemical products
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
- Maintain current vehicle insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport and deliver hazardous materials such as chlorine and pool acid, following all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Load and unload products weighing 50–100 lbs using proper equipment and safe handling techniques
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries, addressing questions and ensuring a positive customer experience
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and customer receipts
- Support warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including operating powered equipment, forklift use, and inventory stocking
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially those related to hazardous materials
