About The Position

We seek the cocktail server that knows and appreciates the art of the drink. This individual is knowledgeable about both traditional and creative libations ranging from classic cocktails to craft beers and makes recommendations to those seeking new experiences. They increase customer retention and loyalty by serving quality beverages with impeccable service and warm hospitality.

Requirements

Professional, personable and courteous demeanor
Able to remember multiple guest orders
Able to read legal documentation to confirm legal drinking age
Required to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objects
Able to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Adhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as defined

Responsibilities

Welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
Clean and clear tables
Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as preparing ingredients and restocking items
Well-versed on all F+B menu items in order to make thoughtful recommendations to guests
Assist in overseeing inventory of supplies and ingredients
Confirm guests are of legal drinking age by requesting and examining legal documentation
Follow alcohol service laws; check identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to consume alcohol
Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
Additional duties and assignments as assigned
