About The Position

We are seeking a seasonal Client Services Team Member to join our team during the most exciting time of the year in the tax and accounting field – mid January through end of April. This is an hourly position between 25 and 40 hours/week. As a Client Services Team Member you’ll provide fundamental client service and operational skills support, and work collaboratively with all members of the organization to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of relevant experience and/or training in a business environment.
• An associate degree or some college coursework preferred.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Multitasking skills as well as the ability to prioritize work without assistance.
• Strong communication skills with emphasis on both oral and written communication when dealing with clients and other team members.
• Ability to work at a sustained pace while producing quality work.
• Understanding of tax terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and professional experience whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Assist clients by answering general questions, addressing concerns related to return statuses and payments, or routing them to the appropriate team member as needed.
• Distribute important information to clients in their preferred format, whether electronically or in print.
• Support the team with a variety of administrative tasks, including scanning client workpapers into project files, downloading and reviewing documents for accuracy, assisting with document management in accordance with ITS procedures, and performing data entry.
