Northern Illinois Food Bank seeks an extraordinarily motivated candidates to join our team as a Seasonal Class D Driver, supporting the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). This seasonal role plays a crucial part in ensuring children in underserved communities receive nutritious meals when school is out. The SFSP Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of meals to designated sites, loading and unloading food while maintaining proper food safety standards, collaborating with site staff to ensure accurate meal counts, and providing excellent customer service to program participants and partners. This position is seasonal, averaging approximately 20–30 hours per week, with workdays generally Monday through Friday and early morning start times. The position will run from May 26 through August 15, 2026. This Part-time seasonal position is based out of our West Suburban Center (Geneva) location.
