About The Position

We are seeking reliable, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Duties include greeting customers warmly, scanning and bagging merchandise, handling cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments, and accurately counting back change. The Cashier must maintain a clean and organized checkout area, direct customers to the appropriate department for assistance when needed and follow all company policies and security procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and basic math skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods. Previous retail or cashier experience is not required, as we provide on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Must be available for at least one weekend shift the ability to work both weekend days is preferred during peak season
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stretch, and lift at least 30 pounds
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions (indoor and outdoor work environment)
• Basic math skills
