Reporting to the Camps Coordinator, the seasonal Camp Teacher will deliver engaging camp programs to students entering second through seventh grade. The program consists of three different camp content areas over Kiewit Luminarium’s six-week summer camp program during June and July 2026. This position involves leading daily classroom activities, supervising counselors and volunteers, maintaining an organized learning environment, and supporting overall camp operations. The seasonal Camp Teacher plays a key role in creating a safe, positive, and enriching experience that reflects the museum’s goal of inspiring lifelong learning through the exploration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Preference will be given to candidates who are available for the full six-week summer camp program (weeks of June 8, June 15, June 22, July 6, July 13, and July 20). However, applicants who are available for one or more full camp weeks may still be considered based on program needs. Camp Teachers must be available Monday-Friday for each week they commit to working. In the application, please indicate which camp weeks you are available to work in full.
