About The Position
Get a jump start on a summer job! The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a non-profit organization that provides summer camp opportunities to Florida’s Youth. We operate three traditional sleep away camps along with a traveling day camp program. Currently we are hiring for our Registrar position. Come work a few hours a month (PRN) now until the start of our summer season in May when you will transition to full time for the summer. SUMMARY The Camp Registrar position provides clerical support for the assigned Camp and coordinates the camp registration process. The Registrar is directly responsible to the Office/Business Manager. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- The person filling this position must have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years clerical experience.
- Experience with personal computers and Windows based software is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Word processing, Request for Service processing, filing, copying, data entry and maintenance of youth and donor files.
- Hospitality and attentiveness to make all callers feel welcome and informed of Youth Ranch services.
- Demonstrates attentiveness and responsibility with regards to all mail, ensuring proper delivery to the staff.
- Request for Service, Summer camp, census, admissions and other required documentation as needed.
