As a Seasonal Camp Counselor, you are the heart of the camper experience. You’ll welcome campers with energy and positivity, guide them through daily activities, and ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. This role is essential to creating lasting memories and setting the tone for a fun and impactful camp season. Important Dates: March 10th-14th March 17th-21st May 25th-August 1st Support a welcoming atmosphere for all campers ages 7-12. Build positive relationships through effective communication and active participation in camp activities. Plan, organize, and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and team-building exercises. Ensure the safety and enjoyment of campers during all activities. Work collaboratively with fellow counselors and camp leadership to coordinate and execute daily activities. Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share insights. Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure camp environment. Monitor campers for signs of discomfort, illness, or emotional distress, and take appropriate action as needed. Pro-active communication with Resort Experience Leaders Greet campers each day with a warm, encouraging attitude. Lead and supervise camp activities, games, and programs with enthusiasm. Ensure camper safety at all times, including monitoring activities and enforcing camp guidelines. Foster teamwork, inclusion, and respect among campers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help campers build confidence and friendships. Communicate clearly with campers, fellow counselors, and camp leadership. Respond calmly and professionally to camper needs, concerns, or conflicts. Stay attentive, engaged, and camper-focused throughout each shift.
