Summary Serves meals to patrons on beach and consistently provides professional, attentive, genuinely friendly service to patrons Promotes and follows LJBTC, Inc.’s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service. Records orders in Micros POS. Ensures all orders are from authorized members/guests by checking member/guest cards. Relays order to kitchen, food runner and bar. Provides all necessary condiments for beach meals. Follows all policies for the responsible service of alcohol. Requests identification from customers when legal age is questionable. Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed. Totals bill, processes and accepts payment in form membership/ guest room signature. Completes assigned "side work" (prerequisites for preparation/set up and closing). Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of his/her section on beach, followed by an end of shift inspection. Must obtain and maintain a current San Diego County Food Handlers card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification. Other duties may be assigned. OUTCOME The server has a great impact on how beach guests and patrons perceive their experience. A genuinely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable server can help ensure that the guest is satisfied with his/her food selection and is eager to return. Requirements

• Consistently provide professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly service

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Must have the ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
