About The Position

The Seasonal Barback position at Lakehouse Hotel and Resort is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic and festive environment during the busy holiday season. Requirements

• Prior experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• RBS Certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Possess an energetic, positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Can perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver heavy items (kegs, cases of beer, etc.).
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell.
• Assist bartenders in ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with glassware, ice, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the bar area, including washing glassware and clearing empty bottles.
• Learn and maintain general knowledge of the beverage menu and assist with drink preparation.
• Restock inventory throughout the shift by replenishing bottles, kegs, mixers, and garnishes.
• Help bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
• Dispose of trash and empty containers to keep the bar area clean and orderly.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist bartenders by running food orders to guests seated at the bar when needed.
• Support bartenders by pre-bussing tables and assisting with any guest needs during service.
• Maintain a professional attitude and work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff.
• Assist in resolving any guest complaints by notifying the bartender or management.
