Job Description: Responsibilities: Must have tax experience as a reviewer or supervisory/senior level. You will enjoy this role if: You have strong experience with individual tax and have a keen eye for detail You enjoy helping others, reviewing colleagues work and providing guidance as needed You thrive working in a team-based environment servicing clients What you will do: This is a seasonal position that provides assistance and advice to customers preparing their own tax returns. Specific knowledge with form 1040 and schedules Compiling/preparing tax returns for using TurboTax Gathering/organizing and accurately entering customer data in the federal and state tax returns for review Ability to research using online resources to assist with responses Communicate directly with the customer as needed Coordinating customer meetings and follow-up Communicate updates to credentialed tax experts on assigned customers Assistance to customers with specific TurboTax product/software inquiries, as well as tax questions and calculations Applied defined practices, procedures and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve product and tax support customer inquiries Will interact with customers and team utilizing strong written and verbal skills as well as deep customer empathy Qualifications: Successful candidates will have: Minimum of three (3) seasons of tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns prepared Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting College degree a plus but not required Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with the form 1040 and all schedules PTIN required (can obtain online) Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate with customers Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken) a plus

Requirements

  • Must have tax experience as a reviewer or supervisory/senior level.
  • Minimum of three (3) seasons of tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns prepared
  • Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting
  • Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with the form 1040 and all schedules
  • PTIN required (can obtain online)
  • Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate with customers

Nice To Haves

  • College degree a plus but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken) a plus
