About The Position

This is a temporary position that will be assisting with the setup, stocking, and opening of our new store. The anticipated rate for this position is $14.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Associates can accrue paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. The Company observes 16 hours of paid holiday time. Respectful schedules during operating hours of 6am - 10pm. Seasonal Associates are expected to load and unload trucks, stock merchandise, greet customers, and work together as a team to ensure a timely opening of new store. In addition, all Seasonal Associates are expected to be on-time for shifts and work hard to complete daily tasks as it pertains to the new-store pre-opening check list

Requirements

Open Availability: morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week; regular attendance is an essential function of the position
Physical ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds and stand/move for entire shift
Physical ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist and safely climb up/down ladder to perform job duties as needed
No operation of vehicle equipment (including forklifts) is permitted unless certified by Harbor Freight Tools
High school Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
Experience working in a retail environment
Ability to work in a team environment
General office environment requiring ability to: stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
lift up to 50 lbs
