The Seasonal Associate at Famous Footwear plays a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion when partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer engagement and service, ensuring customers have a memorable experience.
• Review store performance and actively drive sales to meet goals.
• Communicate effectively with the store team and practice active listening to foster understanding.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, acting with integrity at all times.
• Support team members in their training and development efforts.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect footwear to meet their needs.
