About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by maintaining a welcoming environment and engaging with them effectively. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and deliver top-notch experiences to customers.
• Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals with urgency.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the store team and practice active listening.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures and seeking feedback for improvement.
• Embrace diversity and inclusivity, maintaining a positive work environment for all associates.
• Assist with training and development of teammates when needed.
• Make shoe recommendations to customers and ensure they leave with the perfect fit.
