Seasonal Assembly Material Handler - Heavy Lifiting
About The Position
This is a seasonal role at the Indy North facility, primarily focused on assembling products according to detailed specifications, conducting quality checks, and packaging items for shipping. Adherence to all safety policies is required. The position is expected to last through the facility’s peak season, with the possibility of duration adjustments based on workload. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Ability to read and interpret written assembly instructions
- Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to detailed specifications and drawings
- Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure standards are met
- Package assembled products for shipping as instructed
