About The Position

This temporary position serves as general backup support to the full-time operations staff. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including general maintenance, product handling, equipment operation, facility upkeep, and crop sampling and evaluation. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist across multiple operational areas as needed.

Requirements

Commercial Applicator License (preferred; must be obtained within 30 days of employment if not already held)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work extended or flexible hours during busy seasonal periods
Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license
Ability to bend, climb in and out of trucks, and perform hands-on tasks
Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more unassisted
Work may be performed outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of agricultural products, practices, and territory is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist with inbound and outbound Agronomy products
Operate and maintain equipment and drive company vehicles as required
Ensure compliance with all company and safety policies
Assist with maintenance and repair of facility equipment
Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, weed control, and general housekeeping
Collect and process samples for crop evaluation and recordkeeping
Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments to the Location Manager
Prepare and maintain accurate records in accordance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements
Assist in measuring and monitoring inventory levels of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals
Serve as a backup to Applicators as needed
