Seasonal Agronomy Assistant
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to make life and our environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS) offers extensive laboratory and field support across various industries. This temporary position serves as general backup support to the full-time operations staff, involving a wide range of responsibilities including general maintenance, product handling, equipment operation, facility upkeep, and crop sampling and evaluation. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist across multiple operational areas as needed.
Requirements

- Ability to work extended or flexible hours during busy seasonal periods
- Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Applicator License (must be obtained within 30 days of employment if not already held)
- Knowledge of agricultural products, practices, and territory
Responsibilities
- Assist with inbound and outbound Agronomy products
- Operate and maintain equipment and drive company vehicles as required
- Ensure compliance with all company and safety policies
- Assist with maintenance and repair of facility equipment
- Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, weed control, and general housekeeping
- Collect and process samples for crop evaluation and recordkeeping
- Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments to the Location Manager
- Prepare and maintain accurate records in accordance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in measuring and monitoring inventory levels of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals
- Serve as a backup to Applicators as needed
