About The Position

Role Summary: Admissions cashiers greet and welcome guests in a courteous, proper, and efficient manner, sell admissions, food, beverages, and/or other park related merchandise to guests in a courteous, proper, honest and efficient manner, and to follow the directions of and adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by management. Duties: Willingness to accept the most effective role. Must frequently use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, push up to 20lbs and lift up to 20lbs. Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time, as they may be exposed to rain, sun and high and low temperatures. Physical Requirements: Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time. Must be able to pass a basic math/Beach Park cashiering test. Must be willing and able to work long summer hours, holidays and weekends throughout the year. Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen. Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age. Other duties as deemed necessary by the lead cashier, supervisor, and/or manager. Standing for long periods of time outdoors. This includes being exposed to the elements of nature, which encompasses hot temperatures and rapid changes in the weather. Making guest service and satisfaction a priority in every aspect of their job. Ability to use scissors in a safe and efficient manner. Placing wristbands on guests and checking ice chests of guests as they enter and exit the park. Ability to communicate, which includes but is not limited to, greeting guests and informing guests of park policies/general park information, directing guests to all park locations. Adhering to all park policies and rules. Being honest, reliable, cooperative, personable, healthy, and knowledgeable. Cleaning the workstation and surrounding areas during/after shift is over and returning all items to proper areas. Running and balancing a cash register in an honest, organized, efficient, safe, proper, and courteous manner at the direction of the lead cashier, supervisor, and/or manager. Reporting to work on time and upon receipt of instruction beginning to prepare workstation. Attending, participating, and completing all park-wide and departmental orientations, trainings, and meetings. Reporting to the lead cashier, supervisor and/or manager. Providing guests with exceptional service.
