About The Position
Machine operator in the operation of specialized Public Works equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma and three years of experience in public works construction and landscape maintenance activities including the operation of specialized power equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Class D drivers license
- Class 2B Massachusetts Hoisting Engineers License
- Knowledge of equipment operation and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written directives.
- Ability to handle dangerous equipment with precision and care.
- Responsible for observing required safety precaution.
