The Search Quality Evaluation (SQE) team's mission is to make the world's information more useful by defending the integrity of Google Search. On the SQE team, you have an opportunity to make a significant and direct impact on the quality of Google's search results. You improve user search experience by reviewing search results for quality and content. You reach out to our webmaster community, provide user support, create market-specific policies, and develop tools to aid our spam-fighting endeavors. You are part of a high performing team that is passionate about keeping Google Search at its best. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, the ability to develop innovative solutions and metrics, and a passion for improving the overall search experience. In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting Google Search users from spam and harmful content. You will apply your investigative and technical skills to identify and prevent manipulative behavior, contribute to the development and enforcement of spam guidelines, and partner with engineering teams to enhance search ranking algorithms.
