About The Position
As an SEO Specialist at Homes.com, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online visibility of our website through effective search engine optimization strategies. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their technical SEO skills while contributing to the overall success of the SEO team. You will be responsible for analyzing site performance, conducting technical SEO audits, and optimizing website content to improve search engine rankings. Your work will directly impact the online presence of Homes.com, a rapidly growing real estate portal, and you will collaborate with various teams across the organization to drive traffic-generating initiatives. In this role, you will assist in identifying trends and opportunities through data analysis, perform keyword research, and monitor keyword performance. You will also be tasked with maintaining XML and HTML sitemaps, optimizing meta data, images, and other SEO content. Your ability to create and maintain SEO reports will be crucial in tracking and analyzing performance metrics. As part of a team that values collaboration, you will work closely with product management, developers, marketing, and content teams to ensure that our SEO strategies align with broader organizational goals. This position is located in Irvine, CA, and offers a hybrid work schedule of four days onsite and one day remote, allowing for a balance between collaborative in-person work and the flexibility of remote work. The SEO Specialist role is a stepping stone towards becoming a Senior SEO Specialist, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of search engine optimization.
