About The Position

The Seamstress will be responsible for processing upholstery production pieces by actively fabricating and developing upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture; responsible to ensure efficient product movement and storage. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

  • Up to 3 year(s) of relevant experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Verbal communication, professionalism, sensitivity to confidential matters, organization teamwork.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Math Ability: Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Safety: Approaches work in safe manner; uses protective equipment appropriately; maintains good work safety record and encourages others to do same; notifies management of unsafe conditions / hazards
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, Distance vision and Ability to adjust focus.
  • Education: High School Degree or GED in relevant field or equivalent.
