About The Position

We are seeking sewers to join on manufacturing team in Hickory, NC. As a sewer you will support in the fabrication of our custom vascular product. This role will require the ability to follow written work instructions and produce a variety of different products. We utilize stand up sewing machines at our Hickory facility and the role will regularly require being on your feet.

Requirements

High school education or GED preferred
5 to 10 years sewing experience, if no high school diploma
Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job.
Must demonstrate high degree of seaming skills with the ability to learn many different machines and processes, producing high quality results.
Must be able to inspect garments for defects compared to established standards.

Responsibilities

Seam and/or fabricate a variety of products using one or more types of sewing machines.
Inspect product for defects and handle appropriately, as required.
Ships product per customer order, as required.
Perform cutting duties as required.
Maintain appropriate records.
Performs other duties as assigned.
