Responsible for issuing and inventory of associate uaniforms or other items relating to the Housekeeping department.

Requirements

Knowledge/skills needed to operate a sewing machine, steam presser, irons, washing machines and dryers.
Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level.
Able to work with management on special projects.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.

Responsibilities

Monitor and keep an inventory of uniforms.
Assist with uniform issuance, labeling, repairs, and alterations.
Inspect all uniforms/clothing prior to repairs.
Assist with pressing guest items according to Select Guest standards.
Assist with counting and tracking outgoing/incoming dry cleaning.
Work with dry cleaning company to find missing dry-cleaning items.
If possible, repair clothing for guests.
Responsible for repairing items such as drapes, sheers, bed skirts, other linen, etc.
Knowledge of hotel, facilities, and events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.
Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.
