About The Position

Essential Functions Assist team members with uniform fittings and exchanges in accordance with established procedures. Order, receive, unpack, fold, hang, and organize uniform inventory to ensure the wardrobe area remains clean and orderly. Maintain accurate and current information within the Inventory Control system. Inspect, collect, and process uniforms from departing team members. Prepare uniforms for laundry pick-up at the end of each shift and inspect/stock cleaned uniforms upon return. Issue and collect aprons and culinary accessories. Record sales and payroll deductions accurately, complete transaction documentation, and reconcile totals at the end of each shift. Track and document loaner uniforms and borrowed accessories. Perform both sewing and clerk duties as operational needs require. Maintain locker rooms to ensure cleanliness and organization. Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service at all times. Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor in all interactions. Provide accurate information regarding facility operations and promotions when applicable. Address concerns promptly and utilize established service recovery procedures when needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions when handling employee concerns. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods (4+ hours). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Manual dexterity to operate computers, inventory systems, and sewing equipment. Ability to work in environments that may include dust, noise, and bright lighting. Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and team service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years sewing/seamstress experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of strong customer service experience.
  • Experience operating industrial sewing machines and/or performing hand stitching required.
  • Experience making alterations to flat and fitted garments required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
